HOTEBIKE Electric Bikes Returns & Warranty Policy

RETURN POLICY

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Please keep the original bike box for 30 days, only original package box will be accepted when return.

Returns – Order Placed, But Has Not Yet Been Shipped

If an order has been placed, but the bike, part or accessory has not been shipped, the item in question is subject to a 10% processing fee.

Returns – Order Placed and Shipped

Since you did not cancel your order before we shipped it.
If you don’t like it and there are no quality issues with the e-bike, when returning it, you should pay a portion of the return shipping and re-boxing fee

You will be responsible for your own shipping costs for returns. Shipping charges are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.

Returns – Ordered Already Received

If you want to return the product, you have 30 days to try it out. Products cannot be returned after 30 days from the date of purchase.
In any case, please keep in touch with us. Generally speaking, we will contact you via email.

Returns – Unapproved / Unauthorized Returns

If an order is returned to HOTEBIKE without previous written consent and no return authorization number, the attempted delivery will either be rejected by HOTEBIKE, accepted and held until shipping costs to return the item to you are received or an expenses paid return label is received. HOTEBIKE will make documented attempts to reach you about an unapproved or unauthorized return for a period of ten (10) business days. If HOTEBIKE is unable to get in contact with you via original order supplied contact methods within ten (10) business days, the item will be forfeited.

Note

Please note that do not send the product directly to the original address when returning the product. The mailing address will be provided by mail after submitting the application. If you send it to the wrong address, you will need to pay for it to be shipped to the correct address again.

 

REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at service@shop.hotebike.com.

 

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

 

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at service@shop.hotebike.com

 

WARRANTY POLICY

One Year Limited Warranty

One year after you receive the complete bike.

One Year Limited Warranty

One (1) Year after the date of receiving, if any part or component of the bike is found upon examination to be defective in material and/or workmanship, it will be replaced at HOTEBIKE discretion. Parts included are the battery, motor, throttle, controller, LCD display, derailleur, hardware, wheel hubs, handlebar components and any other parts mutually agreed to of failed due to a manufacturing defect or quality issue.

WARRANTY EXCEPTIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

This warranty is void in its entirety by any modification of the frame, fork, or components.

Consumable Items

Consumable items which may need replacing due to normal wear and tear like tires, tubes, lights, chains, upholstery and seating, brakes and brake pads, cables, fuses, buttons, shrouds and covers.

Damage, Accidental Damage and Misuse

Damaged caused by: battery fluid spillage or leakage, abuse, misuse, accident, negligence, improper operation, excessive loading, maintenance, storage, acts of God, commercial use, or use other than normal, extreme riding, modifications and alterations.

Second Hand Owners and Reselling

No warranty will be offered or honored for second hand owners. The warranty is exclusively offered to the original purchaser.

Initiating A Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact HOTEBIKE’s service department by calling +86-18928076376, or preferably by email at clamber@zhsydz.com. Note that before any warranty claims will be fulfilled, satisfactory proof of purchase will be required, and a photo or video of the damaged part must be sent and reviewed by HOTEBIKE.

Returning Faulty Parts

Do not return faulty parts to HOTEBIKE without prior consent. A request for a return authorization is required prior to returning items. All transportation costs and shipping damage incurred while submitting units and/or parts for repair or replacement are the responsibility of the original purchaser.
